The ACM Bhawanipur Global Campus Student Chapter, officially chartered on August 10, 2026, is a student-led academic and professional community established under the School of Advanced Computing at Bhawanipur Global Campus, Kolkata.
As a chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), we provide students with a platform to engage with emerging technologies, technical research, professional development, and the global computing community. Our chapter encourages students to complement academic learning with practical experience and industry-oriented skills.
Through technical workshops, hackathons, coding competitions, research initiatives, expert sessions, and collaborative projects, ACM BGC promotes continuous learning and innovation across areas including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Full-Stack Development.
Beyond technical development, the chapter places strong emphasis on leadership, collaboration, communication, and professional growth. Members gain opportunities to connect with peers, academics, industry professionals, and the wider ACM community while accessing valuable technical resources and research publications.
Our vision is to build a strong and inclusive computing ecosystem where students are empowered to learn continuously, apply knowledge meaningfully, pursue innovation, and contribute to the future of technology.
